Manufacture of railway locomotives and rolling stock

The company is involved in the manufacture of railway and tramway locomotives and rolling stock. Incorporated in October 2004, the company is based in Albuixech, a municipality in the comarca of Horta Nord in the Valencian Community, Spain. The company has been supplying locomotives to several railway companies in Spain. In September 2006 Angel Trains placed an order with Vossloh España for the manufacture of 18 diesel-electric EURO 4000 locomotives, one of the most powerful type of diesel-electric locomotive in Europe. In October 2006 the railway operators of the province of Valencia (FGV) in Spain also awarded the company a contract for the production of 20 metro trains with a total worth of approximately, EUR 100 million. In both 2004 and 2005, the company sold 10 metro trains to FGV for delivery by the end of 2006. It is a subsidiary of Vossloh AG, a leader in the rail infrastructure and rail technology markets. Based in Werdohl, Germany, the Vossloh Group is an international player whose operations are concentrated in Europe, the location of the most important production plants: Germany, France, Benelux, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Poland. Additionally, it has close ties with rail and traffic operators in almost all European countries. Outside of Europe, it is represented on all the major rail transport markets, including those of Asia and North America.
